Privacy Policy

Scaled Metabolic is operated by AutoDBA LLC. We provide an invite-only patient app and related care-support services for people enrolled through an authorized care team or program.

Information we handle

When you use Scaled Metabolic, we may handle:

• account and profile information, such as your name, email address, date of birth, and care-program information;
• health and care information you provide or choose to share, including Health Connect data such as blood glucose, steps, workouts, sleep, heart rate, nutrition, and related health-profile information;
• meal notes and photos, records or files you choose to upload, messages, and information needed to support your care program;
• device, connection, and service information needed to secure the app, maintain a linked phone, and operate the service.

How we use information

We use this information to provide the patient app, support your enrolled care program, display information to you, share selected information with your authorized care team, maintain security, troubleshoot the service, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Health Connect data is requested only after you choose the data types to share and grant Android permission. We do not sell health information or use it for advertising, credit decisions, or data-broker purposes.

How information is shared

We share information only as needed to provide the service: with your authorized care team or program, and with service providers that help us securely host, operate, and support Scaled Metabolic. We do not sell personal or health information. We do not use Health Connect data for advertising.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send medical information to us through ordinary email.

Retention and deletion

We retain information while your account and care relationship are active and afterward only as needed for legitimate purposes, including security, dispute resolution, and applicable legal or clinical record-retention obligations. When you request account deletion, we verify the request and delete information that is not required to be retained. If information must be retained, we will explain that limitation to you.

Your choices

You can manage Health Connect permissions in Android Health Connect settings. You can request deletion of your Scaled Metabolic account and associated data at scaledmetabolic.com/delete-account. You may also contact us with privacy questions.

Scaled Metabolic supports communication and information sharing with a care team. It is not an emergency service. If you think you are experiencing a medical emergency, call local emergency services.
